Getting TEFL certified

STEPS TO GETTING TEFL CERTIFIED

If you meet the minimum requirements (certified CEFR C1 level of English) and you wish to gain a Level 5 internationally recognised certificate or diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, visit our Approved Centres page and contact one of our centres for more information.

You will first need to complete the Application Form and send it to the centre together with the supporting documents. You will then be invited to an interview (Skype or face-to-face) to discuss in more detail the information you provided in the application form.

The next step is completing the p re-course task consisting of questions about English language grammar, vocabulary and teaching methodology. You will be provided feedback by the centre TEFL coordinator.

Once you have completed the application procedures, you will receive access details for the online course.

The course content is 100% online.
In addition to the online course, the centre will provide you with 3 hours of teaching observation and 3 hours of teaching practice.

Online course access differs according to the TEFL course option you choose:

You can request an extension if you need it.
